you really don't have to tank these adds, it helps to tank them but they die so fast it doesn't hurt to let the DPS tank them while you build up your emnity

Pretty much every healer and DPS I've ever played with, strongly disagree with you.

    ^ This ^

When I tank Levi XM as either Warrior MT or Paladin OT, myself and the other Tank always pick up an add each when the pair pop, and the Paladin picks up the lone 'Hysteria Add' and then chain stuns it. He sometimes loses hate, but it shouldn't matter as he will be stunning it constantly, and it should be dead before that matters anyway.

As MT, you should have cemented hate on the Head before he even jumps the first time, so I normally Heavy Swing > Skull Sunder on the head, and run to the other end of the boat, or just turn to wait for the add landing at my end, and hit it with Butchers Block as soon as it does, before running back to the corner by the head. If you're quick enough, you won't be putting the DPS and Healers at risk with Dread Tide either, as you'll be back in place before he uses it. I normally pop Vengeance when I get back to the head for some extra mitigation too.

As OT, making sure you're in Shield Oath is first priority. So many times I've done the first phase in Sword Oath and forgotten to switch. I pop Fight or Flight while sliding down the boat after the slam, Flash as soon as the Tail shows on the Enemy list, before using a full Rage of Halone combo on it. I then hightail it to the other end of the boat and if I'm a bit slow use Provoke (only needed if it's making for another Party Member) > Shield Lob > (uncombo'd) Rage of Halone > Shield Lob (as I'm running back to the tail) > (switch targets back to the Tail) Shield Lob (Rampart) > Fast Blade > (switch target back to the add who should have followed you) > Flash (on both) > Circle of Scorn > Savage Blade > Rage of Halone

By this point, the hate on both should be sealed, and the add should nearly be dead.
