Ok for the last time, yes we understand how the percentages work. That's not what I'm getting at. There needs to be a fundamental change system here, the game shouldn't be telling players "if you want to socket that one materia, you better come with 15 because 14 are likely going to fail" Like I said, Tera had a system where with each failure the success rate increased by a small amount, and when you succeed it reset to the default rate. It worked well and wasn't game breaking, it gave players incentive to keep trying rather than just give up.
