Thread: 1.0 cd keys

Are these still viable? I noticed some people selling unopened ffxiv games on eBay and was curious if these are essentially the same as buying arr? Ie: could I buy it and register/play with a free month?

I'm thinking of buying a second account to attempt to get the wife Into it, however in case she doesn't go for it, the cheaper the better

If you can get one key for a major discount why not?

This isn't the best place to ask, you're going to need to contact square's support center to give an definite answer to your question.

Honestly, I don't think those codes work anymore given we're well past the expiration date on the XIII pack-in code for the Asuran Armguards. Sad as it is, codes nowadays have expiration dates. I learned this when I tried using a code for a game I had bought but waited to use. Not sure why I waited, really...

Mine is the FF14 1.0 collector's edition and I registered it without issues and received my collector's items.

It was sold out for ARR PC at the usual game store I patronize, but the storekeeper told me that he had left over stocks of 1.0 which can be used so I bought it.

I can confirm that 1.0 keys do work as i had an unopened CE 1.0 that i used and registered as well without issues when ARR went live.

My 1.0 buddy pass gave a free windows version of ARR for a friend, so I assume the original keys also work.

It is valid i used a unused 1.0 code to activate my wifes account. I had two copies one not even used or tied to an account. It should work as it worked for me for 2.0.
