Jumping Chocobo's?!?!?!

Actually, in the latest interview (the community team interview) he said we were getting the traditional unrestricted jump we find in most MMOs.

Think that's where I read it at too but got the wrong idea. I just hope jumping isn't like on WoW.

In most mmos people hop like bunnies, I would like to avoid this. Yoshi-P describe jank jump that wouldn't help anyone get anywhere faster, made me smile. If i saw a person jumping repeatedly in game for no reason, multiple times (like oh saw that guy two days ago jumping like a bunny asshole, and now i see him again today), thats probably a legit reason in my mind to end up on my blist. I know its sad.

With new regions and the planned new design of the current regions SE could make places where you need a chocobo to go there like in the Grand Pulse region in FF XIII. Would it be a island in a big lake or a cave on the other side of a clif.

I'm sure SE can do animations a lot better than Blizzard can. Even if they allow nonstop jumping for Chocobos, or even just your own character, it'll look much better than WoW's jumping.

It would be cool to implement jumping in the same fashion that FFX did it.
You find a small yellow chocobo feather, and it takes you somewhere that's hidden away.
To me that would be awesome! =)
