64-Bit and DirectX 11

Hold UP DX12 is around the corner Lets just wait for that !

It's not really worth it, DX12 won't be tried and tested or have any of the 3rd party documentation, edits and various adjustments that we have now that DX11 has been knocking around for a long time.


It's not usually in SE's nature to go for something new when it comes to graphics technology, especially when they're trying to be as safe as they are with FFXIV:ARR.


It's a nice thought, but it's just too much of a pain to work with a new API when a more trusted one is available for use.



Edit: After checking again to see if DX12 had updated on any new additions, it seems we've only heard so far about it's new level of performance due to a complete re-write.
