Well...a book costs 1500 Mythos of this 2000 cap. Even if you pay the book (Nicobo mentionned a Free book), that'd leave you with 500 spare mythos...which is 50 more than the cap you'd have to live with until patch 2.2.

while I personally haven't had this happen can't you replace them quickly with the df? I always queue for in progress on my scholar and I would love to get in a group with 2 bosses down already, but never get in prog.

that the trouble actually, if people want to do them animus, all the myth they spend will be put into the book. but while doing this, you can only rely on drop for equip other class or get craft mats. it hurt a lot your progression and reduce what you can do.
indeed, people can simply ignore the animus. but that will not solve the trouble. the cost for the book and the gain of myth per dungeon are simply a time sink for avoid people to get gears too fast.

however, even this is not really the worst. since actually in term of progression we have only one way... it's raid...raid and raid. nothing outside this. the game have gone from two way to progress to only one... i think they really need to add content outside raid that are hard. more important, they must absolutly avoid to use Tomes for stuff like the quest book for the zodiac weapon. it's like put everything on one currency... it's really bad!

finally, because of all i have said, people are becoming ass and rude... wanting to advance faster, because it will be always like this, people don't want to spend day and week for get stuff. then they will find and use the most efficient way to get this. leading to the speed run and some abuse.

ps: i want to say that the farm of myth is not the cause of why the community get toxic... must more because of how mmorpg have evolve. we don't have anything to do, i means when you are geared... what you have to do? nothing. because you get this gear from the content, that normally must take time for be completed. they need to take some stuff from the fps genre, meaning add stuff to do that will not bring us stuff and gears. it's idiot, but we need to have challenge and fun outside the classical gears progression.

Ditch party get 30 minute debuff. In a premade SR party thats 3-4 speedruns on first 2 bosses. 150-200 myth. If it's a DPS. theres another que time that could be anything upto an hour that they could have spent SRing with a premade if they werent so lazy and start a PF.

Actually if they join a premade party afterwards, the 30 minute penalty doesn't apply. If you are in a full group you can queue anyways even if one or more people have deserter.

I Blame the dev. they making the last boss so useless as soon as you cap in soldiery. and the commendation thing most of people hit the achievement if they play tank/healer because everyone just give it to this 2 roles.
