What else can you really say to her other than:
Correct them and say "she".

No one is trying to be a transgender hater or anything, some people think that. That's not the case.
It's the fact she's being extremely hypersensitive to something to minor, I'd guess only a teeny tiny portion of people
seeeeriously gets upset because they called them the wrong gender...In a game. It's a game.
A huge portion of the time that I meet someone of a female character, turns out to be a guy. Just how it is.
I call folks by their character usually, but look, all they did was say "Haha I'm a guy." then I apologize and everyone's having a great day.

Now I think the thread should be locked, albeit hilarious, more people are getting offended and it's kinda getting out of hand.

I am a male. My character is female. For a long time a lot of the members in my FC thought that I was female. People in my FC call me Ellen even though they know I am a guy. It's weird sometimes, but I don't really care.

I'm not really seeing a problem.

Ok, I'll stop now, but seriously, I honestly believe that this entire thread was troll baiting from the start. The OP made a statement, ignores any helpful advice and only responds to argue with the people that disagree that this is a huge deal.

The topping on the cake is:

That statement basically verifies that the OP's entire purpose was to troll bait with the intentions of turning this into a cis vs trans topic. Very poor form OP, very poor.

90% of the people you meet on the internet dgaf about you or your personal problems. if they call you the wrong gender its because they dont care enough to ask and/or correct themselves. and why should they? this is a video game

nothing that happens in eorzea should ever have an impact on your real life or you have bigger issues that what we see here
