I wasnt too sure about the linking of outside news articles who some may consider propaganda , but its out there on the front page ready for discovery and scrutiny. Idk about Europe but a major US bill passed recently allows businesses to pay for privileged access from an ISP o:
it means an ISP intentionally redirects server space/bandwith/whatever to one of these paying sites which can cause slow downs, interrupts and entire disconnections on regular, third-party sites. Netflix and several others have already paid for this kind of access.

There's rumors it's to snuff out freedom of speech but who knows...sounds more like business just being plain greedy imo 8D

I have Time Warner too. And I hate them. At least once a day my router spazzes out and I have to reset it lol sometimes multiple times per day.

Gonna play a little devil's advocate here, but how exactly is this a rights issue?

There is some truth to your statement, though I would call it having a discussion. Not everything needs to be an argument to in order to learn about differing opinions. Take it for what you will, but calling this a rights issue is a little over the top.
