Which server are good for me to join?

I have decided to create new character as I don't mind to start over.

Here what I looking for.

Good FC that have static group and doesn't even require voice program.
Non legacy server

I will be creating a character for Dragoon class.

Ingame name will be DeafGamer Ducky.

I'm not even sure about japanese server since I don't want any communaite barrier and don't like too quiet in chat.


So, tell me which one is right for me. Thank ypu.

Why not just transfer servers? It's only $20, and ffxiv is designed so that you only need one character. Kinda silly to start a new guy when you already have progress.

Well i know my FC has teamspeak, but it's not required to play with us, and we're actually build a static right now. But we are on a legacy server. I would advise against Phoenix though as my personal experience on that server was absolutely terrible.

People are generally nice on Hyperion... And I know my FC doesn't believe in the voice chat gods.

Depending on where you live, a Japanese server isn't necessarily too bad. Tonberry is JP's largest JP server, which is pretty much half Japanese, half English. If you live in the Oceanic region, do consider Tonberry.

But otherwise not sure about any other data centers.

Hyperion is a nice server though it is Legacy. I saw your other thread about voice chat and commented in it. My FC/LS uses mumble in events but we don't require it and will still type in chat to include those who arent on voice chat. We're pretty casual and do a bit of everything but we don't have dedicated statics, just certain days we plan to do things and include whoever wants to come.
