I don't understand why everyone seems to be in such a hurry when playing a game. A wipe in a dungeon is what? 5-10 minutes more than what it would have taken? It's not a big deal.

I don't mind if we wipe. We'll do it again and hopefully we'll have learnt by our mistakes, if not... we'll try again. I had the most fun in parties where we wiped, were able to laugh about it and cheer us to do better next time. I'd rather a dungeon take more time if it means having more fun. Flawless runs where nobody talks are so forgettable.

It is unfortunate but there is an over abundance of people these days that lack empathy. A sad commentary on the state of our society.

It's the convenience. There's no process involved in getting a DF party, you just hit a button and queue. You don't know anyone else in it, and you aren't obligated to get to know them, and people want their stuff done as quickly as possible. The playerbase for MMOs in general is different, now...it's all very selfish and entitled. That goes for both sides of the fence, really.

Things like Duty Finder are incredibly convenient to players in general, but they're also horribly toxic to the community as a whole. Sometimes I wonder if that convenience is worth it.
