    Enemy HP Display Percentage

    A: The type of add-on I have in mind are those of the UI persuasion. For example, we can have players customize the UI with a skin of their choice, have enmity displayed graphical, and add windows to view useful information so players will be able to separate information that is otherwise displayed in one large, single window. Add-ons will then become active once they are downloaded and placed in the custom folder. As for the PS3 version, we'll make sure it doesn't trail behind the PC version.

    An even simpler idea would be to do what many RPGs, including some FF games, already do. Just have each boss phase have its own hp bar.

    This. Even if there just happened to NOT exist any programs that could already let you do this, its not hard to calculate the percentage based on how full that health bar is (via a program ofc)

    That could present its own frustration, unless you could see all the HP bars at once - especially when doing new content for the first time. It's nice to see when the end will actually occur, even if you don't know exactly what's going to happen along the way. It's one reason why the "hidden health bars" were so widely reviled in FFXI when they started being used.

    *Party finally grinds down the eighth HP bar. A new one appears!*
    Zeromus: Now I show you my TRUE form! *Becomes space flea*
    Party: UGH!
    *Six HP bars later*
    Zeromus: You've forced me to show you MORE POWER! *Becomes a pretty boy with one wing. A new HP bar appears.*
