    Quick Macro Question

I'm a level 37 BRD and noticing my hotbars (PS4) are getting full and I am find myself wishing I had a few more slots so macro time has come.

My question is: Can I assume that a macro like this:

    <ac> "Bloodletter" <t>
    <ac> "Heavy Shot" <t>

Will fire both at the same time with one button oresssince BL is off of GCD and Heavy Shot is in GCD? For example Misery's End and BL won't fire at the same time just like Heavy Shot and Straight Shot can't fire at the same time. Thank you for any help!!

    Code:
    /ac "Bloodletter" <t>
    /ac "Heavy Shot" <t>
They will not fire at once, but in about 1.3 secounds delay, because of the animation lock of an instant ability.

Generally, it is not recommended to queue abilities that way.

Best option for Hotbar Problems is to get a keyboard and mouse and plug them into the PS4.
People will say that they finally managed it and it is fine, but you will always have some backdrops with the controller.

If you are going to use a macro like this, it is recommended to list the attacks in this order:

    /ac "Heavy Shot" <t>
    /ac "Misery's End" <t>
    /ac "Bloodletter" <t>

By doing so, you can spam the button and will give priority to Heavy Shot and weaving your ME and BL procs in between your GCD. If Heavy Shot is listed last, you will delay setting off your GCD and if you spam quickly, you will sometimes not attack. I use this marco and have no issues with it.

If Bloodletter procs when your GCD is up, it will delay Bloodletter by one oGCD(~1.3sec), cause the macro will fire Heavy Shot.
It's not much, but sums up and is not optimal.

Thanks for the replies! Really seems like any macro is pretty inefficient. Any pointers on making a macro more efficient or is the only way to just monitor it all myself?

you don't need to macro multiple skills together if you properly set them up according to the multiple hot bars you get.

As someone that mains bard, I'll give you my personal set up(M stands for macro).

Hot bar 1(Main buff CDs, main attack skills)
Internal release Blood for Blood Flaming arrow Bloodletter
Blunt arrow(M) Raging strikes Hawk's eye Wide volley Rain of death Windbite Venomous bite Heavy shot
Barrage repelling shot misery's end Straight shot

    Hot bar 2(Songs, secondary skills)
Quelling strikes Foe's Requiem Battle voice Foe's requiem(M)
    Blunt arrow Shadow bind Mage's ballad Army's Paeon Second wind Mage's ballad(M) Army's Paeon(M)
    Quick nock Swift Song Invigorate

I have pages after these two, but they're for things like items, and actions like sprint, mount, etc. The macros I have just use that particular skill, but display a message in the chat with a noise included. Using multiple pages isn't bad as some people may think it to be. It's rather nice, and you don't have 80 different icons on your screen at once. You just need to get used to it.

EDIT: ARGH! it smashed it all together and wont save them as i wrote them out. Just read it it as it displays as the first line being everything going across the top, the second line being all the center skils, and the bottom being the bottom.

Thanks for the input! I think I'm going to do a macro for buffs and a macro for heavy shot. Other than that, maybe I'll have to have 2 bars. I just wanted to avoid switching mid fight. That may be the best option though. Thanks for the help!

Hi I am playing whm and i had the same issue but found a few nice ways around it.

Have you set up your cross bars so you can press L2 and R2 together to get an extra 8 slots? You can set it up so you get an extra 16 but I opted against that as it can get a little confusing as it opens a different 8 depending which you press first L2 or R2 so I set it so no matter which I press first it opens up the same 8 hotkeys.

Also you can lock it so when your waepon is out you can only cycle through say 2 cross bars so you dont have to cycle through all 8 after you trigger something on cross bar 2

I haven't tried that. I will have to give that a try also. It seems as though I need to go through my menus and toy around with some things
