As my fellow forum users mentioned, nerf ATMA by increasing the drop rate.
To 100% drop rate, preferably.

And decrease the FATE spawnrates. Like 1 FATE each 3 hours
Now, there were also RNG in the original relict quests.
Getting seals from hamlet defence (only to unlock the actual relict quest), overmelding the lv 50 class only weapon with 2 specific materias (weapon got destroyed if it failed, prices for a already overmelded weapon raised to 4m - 8m gil) and the 2 quest items in the dungeons if you needed longer than 17 minutes for a perfect speed run.
We can say, the ATMA part is more like the original Relict quest 1.22 (see hamlet seals) than the ARR relict quest (where the only requirement to unlock the relict quest is finishing the lv 50 job quest).

I'm still not doing it. I'm still offended by it.
Ok, lets make atma a guranteed drop at all fates in the zone
Then what?
Novus? Yeah, it will be i101, its too easy to earn, no sense in making it tied with BiS.
They will make atma easier to get eventually.
I find it funny that the people that cleared turn 5 first whined that the echo buff was being introduced to nerf coil so soon, but those same people were crying for an atma nerf within the first two weeks it was released. I say do like they did with coil, let it ride for 6 months or so, then increase it 5% every 2 weeks until it hits the echo percentage cap.
