Final Coil of Bahamut raiding group looking to add 2 members in “Terrible Idea” FC.
Our fixed raid times/days are Sunday/Monday/Tuesday; gather around 8pm EST and usually go until 11pm EST.
We’re looking for a very specific type of player. This is the more casual group in the TI FC; we wish to add players that, while they are very good at learning fights and playing their main and sub classes, do not have the kind of time to put into raiding that the “hardcore” groups usually require when progression time comes around after new content is released. If you feel you’re among the great players that can take on Coil without much trouble, but you just don’t have the time to raid more than 10 hours or so / 2-3 days per week, this group is for you. Our goal is to make progress in Coil at our own pace and have fun and laughs and giggles while we do it. We use TeamSpeak voice chat and expect you to use that also, microphone included. We view ourselves as a group of friends that raid together, as opposed to merely another group of more or less interchangeable strangers that gather together to raid content out of common interest, so a laid back attitude and friendliness are as important as game skills.
This is also a chance to be in one of FFXIV’s top FCs and exchange or learn with some of the best players on the server, as cooperation between the different groups in the FC is strongly encouraged.
The specific roles we’re looking to add right now are: 1 main Tank (preferably has and can play both PLD and WAR) & 1 main Caster DPS (preferably has and can play both SMN and BLM)
Friendly, fun-focused group, but progressing and winning is obviously more fun than repeated wipes so please be good at dodging, learning and executing mechanics, playing the jobs you raid with, and have a lag-free connection.
Like all groups in our FC, we try to maintain a roster of more than just the minimum of 8 members, because, even in a group with a more casual approach such as this one, it will happen quite often that someone is absent on any given scheduled raid night. We believe it makes no sense whatsoever for 7 people to stand around or gather in vain every time one person cannot be present. Rest assured though, that if you get past the recruit status and earn full membership, the raid leader has the responsibility to ensure that everyone gets equal raid time so that all members are on the same page in terms of progression and learning of the fights, and that everyone gets an equal chance at obtaining the loot they wish to acquire.
We are currently into T10 progression, so those that are new to Final coil are welcome to join us. However, we would strongly prefer that our new recruits have T9 cleared already, or at the very least know the ENTIRE fight and are extremely confident they can complete it if given a spot in a clearing group.
If interested, please send /tell to raid leader (Mijin Ga’kure) or, better yet, apply directly through our website: http://terribleguild.enjin.com/
Thank you for reading.
PS: Here's an attachment containing our group logo. We expect you to print it on a t-shirt you’ll be wearing at all times during raids, and your application must include a picture proving that you did have it made.
