I've watched the game change and evolve through updates and add-ons and with it added gear levels and increased difficulty, I have come to notice a disturbing trend, the warrior is getting weaker, now before you spout off rage comments take the time to hear me out, the warrior has no ability to parry even though the parry stat is added to gear, while playing as a PLD you will notice it says PARRY when parry happens, however if you play as the warrior YOU WILL NEVER SEE THIS no matter how much parry you stack on your gear YOU WILL NOT PARRY, so already the warrior DOES NOT have the base damage reduction the a tank class REQUIRES. at least in the next update grant 3% parry on each stack of defiance then at least upon Infuriate i will have 15% parry so my Parry stat will actually mean something, my warrior use to look at death in the face and say "THANK YOU SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER" and i use to have pride in that, now my pride in my class, in my game is all but gone

Are you sure you are actually stacking parry? If not, then you won't parry.

currently i have 527 parry as my war and do not parry.......my father who plays as a PLD has less parry and parrys almost EVERY ATTACK due to his sheild that has actual block rate, i do not parry

even my dragoon with onl 300 parry...parries....cause of the ability to just literaly turn on parry, which is hilariously uneeded cause he is not a tank........i dont get hit as a dragoon so i do not need to parry damage i am not takeing

Me and other WAR that I know still parry quite often. what boss are you testing it on?
is it Ultima?

its just literally any time, titan ex, garuda, ultima, even gilgamesh i literally do not parry, so what am i not activating or doing wrong to have my class literally no longer work to the same effectiveness as i used too

You probably are parrying, and just not noticing it, it's just a Flying text over your character itll say Parried ### Damage (##%)

all i do is pay attention to the damage i take.....its astronomical compared to a pld with equal equipment.
