Given how well they spell simple words in that screenshot, I doubt they'll even be able to spell your name properly on said list, that apostrophe alone will blow their minds.
Kinda bothers me that this knob is on Balmung somewhere though.

They happen all the time on Diabolos, quite successfully too, most people locking an item really only want that item, and won't roll on anythin else.
Congratulations, you've been dubbed a "week player."
Definitely sounds better than being called a weak player!
LOL at the notice of the mispelling, I hadn't even thought about it to be honest. XD It's not like I'm at a want for literacy. I'm still a bit caught off-guard by it.
Talked to the GM about it and they'll investigate proper. Doubt anything will come of it, but like you guys said - report n'move on, as it's just a harassment/threat tactic. XD
Thanks for the solid opinions all around. I'm glad to see most people don't mind this kind of setup. ^^;

I've seen shouts like that all the time in FF11. You have two options: agree to those terms and join, maybe even locking a piece of gear for yourself in the process, or you can not join and go around watching the shouts for something more suited to your goals.

I don't see an issue with 'gear locking'. Never done it myself, but it's just the same as any other party requirement to me. Don't join if you haven't cleared, mumble required, etc. It's not affecting someone that doesn't want those restrictions. If you don't like the rules the party leader has set, don't join and move along (maybe even make your own). Not sure why anybody would make such a big deal out of it and go out of their way to harass you, but I don't understand pedophiles and Justin Bieber fans either so...
