Impossible to complete books solo?

I did it for a fate I couldn't do solo, and a guy joined and helped me out, waited for the fate with me for like 2 hours and he didn't even need to do it.
There are some awesome ppl out there who might help out!

I'm on my seventh book and have done 90% of the fates solo, although as a PLD you can stay alive against a NM fate but you may time out before killing it due to low dips. What I have done (especially for four winds fate) is when the fate pops I just shout "atma book fate please assist <pos>" and every single time others have shown up to help. Contrary to what some think about the in game community there are many people out there willing to help. I would encourage you to shout for help when needed, I'm sure several people will chip in and help. Best of luck to you.

The four winds was really annoying, but I got a fc friend to help out, and a random level 40 came to aid, in what she could, and we down it with like 20 seconds to spare! It felt reply good getting it out of the way, and I'm so thankful for that random level 40 person showing up, the damage she put up was the difference in the fight to win. Of course, I had to make some clutch stuns on the stoneskin mage too.

I hated the four winds fate. Luckily I found a party who was waiting for it to spawn so I joined them. I always join in on that fate if im in the area and if someone is actually doing it. Another fate that is near or almost impossible is the "Schism" fate in outer la noscea. As a tank I had to destroy 6 boxes and a boss while dealing with adds. I would have lost if a lvl 45 monk hadn't come by to help.
