Impossible to complete books solo?

Out of all the FATE's of the 12 Books, "The Four Winds" is the 1 and only FATE which I could not do Solo, even if it was just a single boss I still wouldn't be able to do it, they just hit so hard and have quite a substantial amount of health so you'll need at least 2 other people (1 being a healer) to help you out.

Surely you have a couple of geared FC members to come help out at short notice when the FATE pops?

Pharos was easy even before patch... did it every every way possible.

I did it for a fate I couldn't do solo, and a guy joined and helped me out, waited for the fate with me for like 2 hours and he didn't even need to do it.
There are some awesome ppl out there who might help out!

I got it!! It cost me 100k but I don't mind.

I guess I am, Pharos and surprise! Fate was the worst part of animus but at least it's done

I'm on my seventh book and have done 90% of the fates solo, although as a PLD you can stay alive against a NM fate but you may time out before killing it due to low dips. What I have done (especially for four winds fate) is when the fate pops I just shout "atma book fate please assist <pos>" and every single time others have shown up to help. Contrary to what some think about the in game community there are many people out there willing to help. I would encourage you to shout for help when needed, I'm sure several people will chip in and help. Best of luck to you.
