Twin still gonna eat you for breakfast...
no, twin has and never will be facroll. no amount of echo or gear can protect you from a solo fireball, a conflag, divebomb into the wall, aetheric profusion, twisters, dreadnight, or possibly even hatch.
(also it probably won't protect you from death sentence on the later phases)
Um no, with echo everyone should be doing 360+ dps, with one warrior dpsing most of the phases getting around 250+dps, and the main tank getting over 130 dps. The total dps should be upwards to 2540. That's enough to skip phases that shouldn't be skipped like twin's lb, and basically cut off conflagration phase if you do the aoe adds strat with adds at beginning, which is having main tank get all adds and twin, and start aoeing them all.
But yeah, he mentioned buying a carry, and even with him dead the whole time total dps should be over 2180. Which is enough to push phases still.

OP, after looking at your lodestone profile I'd say this is no where near the last achievement you need. Doing the story long enough to actually unlock your chocobo mount might be a good start. There are tons of achievements you don't have. This feels like nothing more than a troll post.

There's a difference between skipping and pushing phases. And I fail to see how AOEing the adds in phase 1 shortens phase 2, which is conflag and fireball or cut it off. :/ Are you telling me you get twin from 85% down to 55% before she could even do the first Conflag? Must be nice living in the fantasy world.
Again, this is the level of people farming Twin which the players clearing it won't have.
Tbh I don't think you know this, but 1850 dps is enough to skip phases in turns 8 and 9, those bosses have double the HP that twin has. With echo buff you're adding 400 dps with someone dead the whole time, and if no one is dead 700+ dps. Add the fact that the hp pools of all adds have been lowered in turn 5.There's a difference between skipping and pushing phases. Also I mentioned at the end of that post that, the OP asked about buying a carry, hardcore FCs sell this stuff and easily use this party setup

Trophy, not achievement. There are plenty of achievements you don't need to get if he is just going for the platinum trophy associated with the PSN version of the game.OP, after looking at your lodestone profile I'd say this is no where near the last achievement you need. Edit: I swear I thought you needed to actually beat the story for one of the trophies as well, so you may still be right about the troll post. Unless he skipped the part about getting a chocobo to beat story because I believe it is technically a side quest to obtain it.
That's my 1.0 char. My 2.0 is ilvl90 so its not too bad gearwise.OP, after looking at your lodestone profile I'd say this is no where near the last achievement you need. Basically if you don't know the fight well enough to pull your own weight you'll probably need a carry or to put in enough time to know the fight properly. The echo buff doesn't nullify any mechanics, just allows you to take/ deal 15% more damage (currently) and for healers to recover more hp per heal. There are still instant kill mechanics and a single player messing up dive bombs can kill everyone else. That said, if you really just want the trophy and that's it, buying a carry is certainly the quickest and easiest way so long as you have the funds. I don't suppose there's any reason you wouldn't do that if you can afford it since you don't seem interested in continuing to play and wouldn't need the gil for anything else anyway.
