Help: My keyboard does crazy stuff instand of what it is intended to do.

For some godforsaken reason my keyboard does stupid things like changing what I type in and making my character move instand of what I intend it to do, namely to chat in game. This happened all of a sudden and I think I might have done something in the settings to make this occur. Anyone here who knows how to fix this so I can chat again?

Not sure it's a fix but in main settings you have a switch to controller, or keyboard, switch between the two to see if that works? Ofc need to switch back to key board.
Had a bad similar incident, dog jumped up on the keyboard and she jammed the auto run key whilst I was in a dungeon...I think I must of pulled half the zone before the tank rage quit

Intended to do? Unless you're on PS3, the keyboard is intended to do what you described, ie move your character and such. That's actually the default option. You have to press enter before chatting normally. There's an option to change this so the keyboard is chat only, but .... ew?

Ok? which setting is it? the only setting between the two I have found takes away the hotbar and replaces it with keyboard controller, but right now it seems that both systems are in action making me unable to chat at all as my keyboard works as in game controllers. How do I fix this?

So far it has not done like that. And even if I press enter I can still not chat normally via keyboard. I am on PS4 btw.

Try pressing both your alt keys, I tried switching from full screen to windowed mode the other day and whenever I tried to type an S an L a P or an A it would change my chat type rather than type the letter, for some reason when I changed to windowed mode it got stuck in alt mode so when I pressed alt it fixed it.
