warning for ps4 players random deleted games

this applies to many other games besides ff14 on the ps4 but randomly a rare bug occurs making your console delete a game or two from your console

sadly i have been affected by this twice (first losing resogun and now ff14 AND outlast)

this is just a warning to let people know this can happen but it is rare but there are some common ways on how this happens

if any screenshots you take in ff14 for example are corrupt it makes the system think the whole game is corrupt and delete it so as a PSA
please check your ps4 for any corrupted data on the screenshots videos or even on the game install data itself,


if you do find the game has been deleted redownload from your library and you should be able to play again (at least i hope)


as for me i now got 12 hours before i can play again ;A;

I'm kind of confused how to actually check the screenshots I've taken. In PS3 it was easy because there was a Photo tab on the XMB. I haven't messed with that SHAREfactory app that was installed a week ago during the software patch, but there has to be another way to check your SS database right? If you know how, please help?

go onto your profile on the ps4, and you will see a icon on the right called share gallery thats one way to find it :3

Alright! This is more along the lines of what I was looking for. I didn't want to have to check my HDD memory everytime. Eventually I will have more stuff on my system and that route just sounds exhausting lol. Thanks!

taking a pic isn't the worry its iff you turn off the console suddenly or if you try to upload and turn it OFF plus a random corrupted image may not be the cause :3

it is a rare bug in the sense of normally the console can tell what is wrong keep it away

the corrupted image is just a thorey i have heard so it might not be right all togeaver

true, shutting donw the console suddenly, while it's uploading (or when using the sharebutton), seems dangerous..., the whole share system, where is saves pics/vids the moment you click on them, is kind off a vulnerable spot...
