I deleted my data?

Yes I think I am stupid.

I wanted to upgrade to ps4 so I did it. However, when logging in the game I see I have no characters. After that I see the "Character data ps3->ps4" and I go in to see how I can do it. It tells me I need to export my data from my ps3 account (which I no longer can access because I upgraded to ps4).

So... Is there a way I can get my character to the ps4 or am I just stupid and need to start all over again? Thx for the help

I doubt you would have to start again considering that your character data should be saved in the server. I only own the PC version though so I really don't know what you can do ><

This is for your configuration files, like UI layout, crossbar setting, gearsets, macros. Everything that is not saved server side.
Your character datas are saved server side. Did you upgrade the right service account?

Log in moogle-station with your account and look if your characters are listed there and if the account is registered for Playstation 4

It's saved server side, so you should be able to hit the server you were on and log onto your characters.

The export data is for stuff like macros and ui settings.

I have the PC and PS4 version but not the PS3, so I haven't done the updgrade. I was able to log into my account on PS4 with no problems. Did you add the PS4 code to your account on the Mogstation? As far as I know the PS3->PS4 data transfer is just moving all your settings over, not your actual characters.

There should a button in the bottom right corner of your ps4 game client to import your characters. I had the same problem when I transferred initially.

It import configuration files from PS3 to PS4. The characters are on the SE servers.

OK! Problem solved! Thank you so much for your replies but at the end it was a stupid thing like not waiting for the opening movie to finish LOL.
When I saw the opening scene I thought there were no characters so I came to the forums crying instead of waiting.

I do apologize for making you waste your time. Now I'm gonna see the ps4 version!!!!!
