    [Suggestion] Hotbar and Macros

Can there be a way to reshape the hotbars? I would like hotbar 1 to be in the shape of a numberpad. Currently I have worked around the system to stack 4 hotbars on top of one another, and then keybind the leftmost and rightmost three buttons to emulate a numberpad and a shift modified number pad, but this is an inefficient solution to the problem.

Macros would be more useful if they displayed the name text across them (and tooltips). It would be helpful for those with lower resolution monitors and problems seeing colors. An example is the icon for Disembowel and Spineshatter Dive - these look almost exactly alike and they are easy to mix up. It is easier for some people to just use macros to have that text listed on the button. Not everyone is good at discerning one white and blue swirl from another.

Here is an image of what I mean

The left side is shift+num and the right side is just num. It would be so much better to not have to use 4 hotbars to make this configuration

While we are looking at that, would it also be possible to allow us to have part of a hotbar\element off the screen. The party list is not where I would prefer it. I would prefer it to be in-line with the tops of my button bars, but I cannot move it further down the screen because it hits an invisible wall.

You can use a "trick" for that by hiding unassigned button on each bar but then not only you'll waste the mutliply actual bars to combine them to one "2D" bar but also will have a bit of troubles with key binds.

You may be able to see that this is exactly what I am doing. That clear area in the middle? That's all the unassigned slots for those 4 bars. Wasted slots that I can't really use for anything that also could have been 2 complete bars I could put somewhere else.

Yeah - I though so... You can though use vertical bars instead - 3 on each side - and use each set of 3 to produce at least two sets of "numeric keypads". Either way, it's wasting lot of slots but I doubt SE would be looking in re-shaping the bars.

I could, but that would take up 6 total bars for my left and right side configuration instead of 4, thus wasting even more bars\slots.

SE can look into it, or they can allow third party add on development to solve the problem. This configuration and more was easily achieved with Bartender, an add on for WoW. This is where I originally got the idea. You can make any bar with any amount of rows\columns you want it to be.

Anyway, thanks for the responses. Hopefully SE will see it and consider it.
