On topic, I always wonder what would happens if you kill the mage on the first boss of Amdapor Keep before he finish summoning the real boss.

Or if it's possible at all.

It's impossible. The mage will stay at about 1HP until after he falls over from the summoning

Yesterday in Titan EX pre-heart he decided to be cute and do jails while the "cover 2/3 of the field" bombs were up instead of landslide.

We had twin chasing us passed the walls once.
Looked pretty funny even tough one person died, we all had a laugh.

Yesterday I did a duty roulette and wound up in Halatali hard. While we were fighting the dudes in the last fight, the demon suddenly emerged from the gate (it being still closed) and fought us as well, without the lalafell.
Was pretty hilarious and we of course managed to kill them all anyway. Unfortunately I forgot to take screenshots.

I'm assuming the Mage would do the same as the Eye in Haukke; turn green and flee. I've "killed it" many times before and it just turns green and flees to the boss room. The mage probably does something similar and finishes summoning.
