    Do alot o peaple just ignore fates or somthing?

    Well I started to farm atma. Several times I end up soloing fates. Just today I was soloing this one fate, and like 10 people just ran by and no one joined it. After about 7 minutes I just gave up and left.

    That seems to happen ocationally. Why do people just ignore the fate when someone is trying to do um?

    I mean seriously its prime time on my server and I see severall people fighting regular mobs, but completely ignoring the fates, I really don't understand people.

    Pro tip: You don't need gold and you don't even need to successfully complete the FATE to get your stone. It will go faster if you are completing FATEs to make way for new ones, but if no one is there to help you can just hit em a few times and wait for the timer to run out. Got one of my stones that way tonight. Just make sure you don't change jobs or leave the zone before the FATE times out.

    I often ignore fates. I enjoy leveling through dungeons much more, and fates have nothing I want. In most cases, they're actually a nuisance.

    Sometimes if it's a group doing FATEs in a zone, I've seen them intentionally skip some of the more time-consuming ones believing the difficult will scale back the next time it pops. When the zerg rush fest time is past, FATEs tuned to 30+ people will be harder to do as a group of 4 or 5 players, so they'll just skip them altogether as it's a major time investment otherwise.

    I can solo most fights except the swarm types with WAR before time runs out, but if it's spawning enemies expecting a massive crowd, I give up and try elsewhere.

    I usually shout for help when im doing my atma book fates. when no one aids, then i just solo my fate and move on. Now, If someone does help, I will usually go help them complete 1-2 fates before i go about my way if they are fate farming.

    I think a big thing is that few people are actively grinding for Atmas now, and most areas you go to probably aren't 'prime' for leveling parties. I think Dotsusama hit most of the points on why people ignore some/many fates. A month ago when 2.2 first came out, fate parties were the coolest thing since Lunchables. Now most people have either completed their atma grind, or given up on it and are awaiting the drop rate to get buffed.

    People could just be busy doing other things and on their way to other places. I know I stop for almost any FATE unless I am pressed for time because I want the seals to cash in for my Ventures.

    I think when you are working on the books, you will understand why...
    The books ask you to kill some mobs, and some FATE that you need to camp.
    Probably you won't have time to ENJOY those fate for a while. ^^;
