Need help with a Quest! "Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep"

Hi.
I´m new to this, so pls don´t facepalm me or call me noob or anything just because I don´t know this (used to LoL community. Flamers everywhere).

Anyways, me just being a typical girl here: The only way to change hair/tattoos etc is to get a Aesthetician, which you get after completing the quest "Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep".
I went to Limsa Lominsa, but when I found S'dodjbi (according to the internet, this is where the quest should start) she was just a normal NPC and had no quest for me.
So my question is: How do I unlock this quest?

I have reached lvl 17 with my miqo'te. It is a lvl 15 quest, so I don´t understand why the quest won´t come up.
Does the fact that my character is from Ul´dah and not Limsa Lominsa have anything to say? Is it so that you can only take the quest if you are from Limsa Lominsa?

Pls help me, I´m really stuck on this and don´t know what to do : /

Are you up to date in the main scenario quest? ^^ have to complete 'call of the sea' which is lvl 15

I read about it on internet. I went to Drowning Wench where the quest "Call of The Sea" is supposed to start, but I could not find it : /

Main scenario quests are those with the "flame" meteorit frame around quest icons above NPC's heads and on the map. You need to follow the chain of the quests to unlock them in sequence - look here and check for (missing) Prerequisite Quests - you can trace the "chain" there in both directions. You can see your latest completed (main scenario as well as any other) quest in your Journal under Completed Quests.

Main Scenario Quest are quests with the flame icon exactly like the FF14 icon displayed instead of the usual Q shaped icon. You will (eventually) need to complete the progressive Main Scenario Quests in order to unlock the various other features included in the game such as inn and retainers.

I have a feeling you've done what I did in the first part of the beta, where I chose a class and then thought the only quests available were class related.

Check your journal, check story quest progress, and go from there.

Yes you have to, whether or not it's to unlock the Aesthetician feature. You will need to advance in that quest so you can gain access to the airship that takes you to other city-states and also instance dungeons.

Main scenario quests are not linked to / specific to only one city, after certain level they'll start moving all over the place - you need to complete those "initial" one from your starting city and from lvl 15 they will start appearing in other city state locations as well. Have you done the Ul'dah Envoy yet?

Yes, I have done the Ul´dah Envoy. That´s how I could travel from Ul´dah to Limsa Lominsa.
So finishing Main scenario quests in Ul´dah will not make the Main scenario quests in Limsa Lominsa become available? In that case, does that mean I just have to do the lvl 1 quests in Limsa Lominsa until the more high-leveled quests appear? Or is it enough to do only the Main scenario quests? (in that case, do I just complete them one by one as I did in Ul´dah?)

Edit: Btw does anyone know if there is a way to auto lock you target when using a PS4 console? In fights with many targets, I have huge problems on focusing the right one since I automatically change target after every attack.
