Alright since my name was brought up I shall respond with my feelings on the matter. I sit and pvp in every matter under sun from srs business to naked duel slap fights ( which is a lot of fun btw) u can support "win trading" or hate it but in all my non srs messing around w people I've had more fun and met more people in the last 2-3 wks then I have herpa derpin in all of pvp. I could wait 30 mins + for a que for my grind, or trio/quad que and pick on solo quers non stop and make them stop pvping, but why? esp when I can insta que a group of 8 and do everything from swimsuit fights so auto attk duels to u name it and casually have fun. Until Yoshi P says getting 8 people together is wrong imma do it. I will enjoy my matches that can do anything from 5 secs to 2 mins and imma pay my sub play my 18 hrs a day and enjoy it.

As far as win trading goes, I see it as no different than sitting in full I90 as a trio insta bursting all newcomers who enter (been there and done it) only difference for people is they dont have their morale destroyed by geared players, they have a chance to fight on level playing fields w set rules, and it lets them catch up to those of us that were level 30 w/o taking 3284 losses while we boost our "epeens" at their expense. inb4 they should sit in 30 and 40 ques, because they shouldnt if they are lvl 50 they have every right to be in the que that those of us that are geared do.

Finally do compare "win trading" or "forced grouping" depending on your circles to pve 3rd party hacks makes your arguement seem like a person who is just acting bitter. No one is map hacking pvp or using any give me every piece of gear for every class w/o ever playing a match. When in matches people are flying raining death on you and you cant fight back. Then and only then will your arguement be comparable instead of sensationalized. Until then enjoy yourself, make a ls invite friends, strangers, you name it and have fun, which is the point of this game.

P.S. Life is 2 short for any ill will. I dont hold any toward anyone no matter what their stance, and you shouldnt either, I wish you luck in your endeavors and great success in what you do.

Issue isn't that people do it. It's that some people do it. And when others ask if it's allowed on forums no mods speak up. I don't want to get banned so I don't want to risk doing it (SE has banned for similar exploits in the past both in xi and xiv). If a mod dropped into one of the 4+ threads on the subject over the last few months and said "Yeah it's fine" then no worries at all.

But if SE is unclear on it, and it comes off as an exploit, it's really unfair to people who play legit. Because if everyone wintrading played normal pvp queues wouldn't be 20min long

Still would be long, even more so when you play healer/ranged. Those less than 5min melee queues are nice.

Ish It will probably always be like that until they put in a rating system with a gear set or title or something attached to it. Otherwise people would rather just consider it a grind and not so much a competition. as there is no reward for winning like in other mmos

necro to me honest spirit of competition would be everyone w the same gear same amount of premade people fighting working on a ranking ladder. Solo que doesnt offer that atm, only 4v4 premade does.

It's astonishing how bold-faced and illogical some of the people in this thread are defending wintrading. Lie to yourselves all you'd like, but the truth is you're only attempting to make it seem like the lousy way you're doing things is the intentional way to level. If SE wanted this, they would have just handed us the gear. Anyone who claims otherwise is just deluding themselves.

There's no reason for it other than people are lazy. People who only want it for vanity, should still have to go the correct channels to get it. People who are too lazy and just want the gear to have an advantage over others.

Just because the system allows it, doesn't mean that it's "Working as intended". How can you honestly claim that SE wanted us to take turns beating on each other in order to level up?

The same people are probably the ones that buy gil, use bots, and all around just suck as players in general.
