it got deleted cause no1curr that you can't find a linkshell to play with.
win trading or not, a linkshell and 7 other people to play with will slice your time in half, probably more than half. people have done it by this method and are accused by people whom are much like yourself, clueless, OP.
the people on this forum saying anyone with i100 is a win trader quite frankly, make my head hurt. moreso the ones claiming that they'll report anyone with i100, or straight up call them out. who are you to say these things? lol
the patch for this has been out for a while, remember that. solo queueing is not nor never was the way to level in pvp.

1. i have no issue with ppl entering with ls and FIGHTING. i have an issue with ppl "insta-dying." If you want to play with friends and no one else is queueing, no problem. But if you are win-trading (e.g. team b dies without a fight, team a dies without a fight, team b dies without a fight, team a dies without a fight) that is pure exploitation. There have been party finder groups on our server for win-trading.it got deleted cause no1curr that you can't find a linkshell to play with.

2. no one is accusing people. I know ppl from balmung who pvp nearly all day and have a lot of the i100 gear. And I'm happy for them (at least when they are being nice about me getting 2shotted by tanks with i100). But there are people in other threads who basically admitted to win-trading because "pvp sucks" (including the deleted thread)
I don't see how anyone can justify trading instant deaths to rank up. Why even bother with PvP then?
Mew!

why ? with enough ppl in pvp there is no diference if you solo or party queue, rewards are same and time is same too.
and Sapphic stop comparing pvp to pve, if you die like 100 times in coil6 you have totaly 0 drops, if you do that in pvp you lvl up and get some gear, thats the main difference. Everyone will have that gear even ppl that put no effort to get it. In pve even with echo you cant pass encounters afk cuz echo dont negate boss mechanics, you have to put some effort to get gear and go to higher content.
9 times out of 10 you will wait between 5 and 188 minutes (my longest thus far) in a solo queue.
with 7 other people and knowledge of how the recently added match making system works, it is instant, you can set your own rules. I know of linkshells that forbid pvp skill usage, some that only use pve gear, blah blah. there are ways to level and have fun quickly, but people would sooner tunnel vision the people simply grinding for vanity and make a huge deal out of something that really, is not a huge deal.
Actually, solo queue (assuming you win) nets you 100% rewards, while grouping only gets you 50%. As with most of XIV (that isn't "hardcore" endgame), Yoshida would rather you play with completely random people for better rewards than enjoy the game with friends. I call it the Enjoyment Tax, enjoying the game with friends halves your progress in PvP, removes DR rewards from the game, and so on.

we're talking light party queues, which give you the exact same rewards as if you were alone.

I think you need to make a distinction between queueing up with friends to actually PVP
And queueing up with friends to just die instantly (no actual gameplay/pvp involved)
1 is having fun with friends
the other is bypassing the pvp part of pvp
If you win-trade to rank 40 and get a full set of gear it becomes a lot easier to get wins in solo queue as almost no low levels can do anything to you. I've been in groups where tanks were completely afk and dd's couldn't kill anyone for 5min

that only happen in group of 2 or 3, if you join as 4 you have 100%
not true to an extent. if you join as 4 in a solo queue you will receive 25% of the rewards. you have to use the light party option for the rewards to be 100% as a full party.

the more i post and read these incessant threads, the more i wonder, how many of you actually do pvp on a daily basis, and how many of you are simply furious that there are venues you simply refuse/aren't using to get the new pretty gear.
no one is begging you to win trade, but you're creating a problem that is easily bypassed with a system most people don't bother to use. you think the win traders are the problem, when the only problem is people like the ones creating this thread.
yes, solo queueing will be largely dead. but at the same time light party queues are simply so much better, that they aren't worth the time. a lot of people have realized this. have you thought beyond win traders as to why your queue is dead?
