Great idea rather letting the SMN do the DoTing. we wana see more fire power from EGI maybe 80% more and 20% from the SMN not the other way round. It kind of pointless having the EGI then.
Or we just copy WoW game as warlock because it worked there lol
Definition of insanity. What is it?
It is this.

I love theory crafting my favorite class as much as the next person, but this is unnecessary...

STOP MAKING THREADS ON THE SAME STUFF OVER AND OVER
Not gonna happen. Regularly used provoke mechanics are pretty strong when you get down to it (since it basically renders the need for most high enmity abilities redundant); making it an AoE that also deals damage is just nuts. If it were to get something like this, I would expect it to get a single target Provoke that has been weakened significantly compared to the tank one (6y ranged instead of 20y; 60 sec CD compared to 40 sec; potentially require it to make a check to hit rather than being auto-hit).
Also, simply adding extra attacks doesn't "fix the egis". You're just straight up buffing them when SMN (and by definition their egis) are already plenty strong. If you want to talk about "fixing" them, you need to realize that there will have to be trade offs, either by getting rid of something the SMN gets (and just SMN; you can't change the ACN without also changing SCH and SCH is incredibly well balanced) or something that the egi itself gets.
If you knew Akiza's posting history, do you think he or she would care about balance?
I don't even play SMN but half the changes Akiza wants would destroy my favorite job Scholar, which is why I voice up in every thread this person makes. Also, simply adding extra attacks doesn't "fix the egis".
