For OP suggestion, It would be just like a new gathering class but requires the chocobo.

In XI you have to consume an item for each digging and it was completely no fun and unpopular for chocobo digging in XI.
Please only re-design a funny enjoyable one but never copy the chocobo digging from FFXI. ^^;
