Repair system time/gil sync farce.

You dont understand that mmos need gil sinks, or the market gets flooded with gil and any new players cant afford anything because everyone has so much gil, gil sinks help to avoid mass inflation.

And in your op you said repair systems dont belong in a western/EU or P2P mmo, which says you think this is a western mmo. Even if most of the playerbase ends up western it doesnt make it a western mmo, its still a Japanese mmo becuase thats where its made.

My only convern with the ffxiv duct tape. Is everyone will sell it and there will be no real money to be made from it.
Also WoW a western mmo, has a repair system >.>. Most western rpg i've played have a repair system.

But in away this might help the wards out a bit. First off, this will limit the inventory issue people made for themselves. This will also help retainer storage and useage. Pretty much people will sell gear and dark matter. Maybe even mats for gear. Heck maybe the npc venders selling it will be at a decent price that it will be a decent gil synce. So though I think a ffxiv duct tape item is kinda dumb, it is growing on me. But all in all it is a silly idea and I cam just see people making red neck jokes about the item.
