It's quite clearly SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE THEEEEEEEEEEE MOOOOOOOOOOOOONEEEEEEEEEEY. I mean, balance and all that.
...possible allegory for communism?
Well, from the Sophia DF description..
"History tells of a Meracydian nation comprised of a multitude of races, the foundations of which were built on worship of a single deity .......................
......... blah blah, binding their societies in gilded chains of harmony.
So I'm inclined to think the lyrics in the opening are "Chains of Harmony". Besides, I blasted that music up on my headphones, and I clearly hear 5 syllables ?
So, this is what I've currently got for Rise after listening to normal speed and half-speed (which actually doesn't sound half bad in some parts):
Rise Lyrics
SONIC BOOM!
<???>
<???>
This ain't no matter, but a <???>
Start pushing the buttons, the count of ages!
Pump it up!
<???>
<???> with you grandkids!
<???>
Pedal to the metal on the metal highway!
Keep 'em in pinpoint!
Kill 'em with quickness!
Give 'em like bomb bomb bombs in the business!
Movin', zoomin', everything moving,
Pushin' all your buttons, what buttons?
<???> they do here!
Two phases! Two phases!
Two buttons, zoom through!
Gonna see what they move!
Keep 'em in pinpoint!
Kill 'em with quickness!
Give 'em like bomb bomb bombs in the business!
Boom! Down-down with the <???>
Bomb with the tom gonna rise upon ya,
The boom-down down-set all down-down with the
Boom! Flick-back right back-back down again!
A to the L to the E-X-ANDER,
Goblins gonna rise up, boom like thunder!
(x8)
Rise up, and wakey-eye the people!
Now, rise up, and light-filled upon us!
Now, rise up, it's time to <???>
So!
Rise with me!
Rise with me!
Rise with me!
Rise up!
Step back, the booms are gonna put you under..!

Turning the clock waaaaaaay back to an ARR-launch track with mysterious lyrics of sorts that is always heard yet pretty much forgotten about/taken for granted - does anyone have any idea what the choir in A Victory Fanfare Reborn is singing? To me it sounds like "Victory for Eo-r-zzea!".... but I'm almost definitely wrong.Has Ferne or any other member of the development team ever let slip what the lyrics are for this track? (The inlay booklet for the ARR OST album does not mention it). Either way, this has me puzzled.
After looking at Sephirot's lyrics and reading the lore book entry that the Triad actually fought against each other, I am starting to thin that his song is referring to Sophia ("Her" "She") and that the song is trying to convince one of her followers to follow him instead.
Especially seeing how extreme Sophia and her follower's belief of "Harmony" truly is
I think I understand some of your missing lines and words, but these are just guesses:
We're gonna rock the ages
Gobbies are in the business
This ain't no matter, but a faint glow
Start pushing the buttons, the count of ages!
Pump it up!
Get in you kids
Travelin' time with your grandkids!
Uh-huh!
Pedal to the metal on the metal highway!
Yo!
Keep 'em in pinpoint!
Kill 'em with quickness!
Give 'em like bomb bomb bombs in the business!
Movin', zoomin', everything moving,
Pushin' all your buttons, what buttons?
Pushin' through them!
Two phases! Two phases!
Two buttons, zoom through!
Gonna see what they move!
Keep 'em in pinpoint!
Kill 'em with quickness!
Give 'em like bomb bomb bombs in the business!
Boom! Down-down with the bomb
Bomb with the tom gonna rise upon ya,
The boom-down down-set all down-down with the
Boom! Flick-back right back-back down again!
A to the L to the E-X-ANDER,
Goblins gonna rise up, boom like thunder!
(x8)
Rise up, and wakey-eye the people!
Now, rise up, and light-filled upon us!
Now, rise up, it's time for us to end them!
So!
Rise with me!
Rise with me!
Rise with me!
Rise up!
Step back, the booms are gonna put you under..!

Something... something... edginess... shadows... wait... I'm supposed to be a paragon of love and justice!
Are the lyrics in the new dungeon boss theme ("Revenge Twofold") taken from the Heavensward/Imagination theme?
Not sure about the beginning with the predominantly male voices, but it definitely has
Wills unbending
Faith unending
Stone defending
Now our steel shall sing
To their trespass
We are Witness
Here to pass this
Final sentence
No forgiveness
No deliverance
Only Justice
Only Vengeance
Guide us, O mighty Fury
Guide us to victory!
This latter bit is jumbled from the original Heavensward and some of it is sung at the same time as the "Guide us..." lines, but I've bolded those I definitely hear.
