Song Lyrics in FFXIV: Compilation, Discussion, and Interpretation

I'm not especially good at this video business, so apologies, but I've rigged up a quick comparison of the Fiend fight audio vs. the Fiend orchestrion audio. There are additional differences in the rest of the chorus -- the recording cut out sooner than I'd have liked it to -- but there you go. As far as I can tell with a very inexperienced and unmusical ear, the chorus is the only difference between the two versions.

From what I can tell, the first chorus of Fiend is moved to the second for the Orchestrion version, and "Concede your mind unto the Fiend"(?) is moved to the first and changed to "Concede your place in history".

There are definitely other differences beyond those, from some other Orchestrion videos I've seen. I don't have the Roll, myself, so I may need to shell out a bit of gil for it, but I'm getting a very "Through the Maelstrom" vibe about this, with two different versions of the song existing.

For Heroes aka Thordan Theme, maybe the lyrics are some Heavensward theme translated to Ishgardian/ Dragontongue?

The song itself is an altered Heavensward with this order

The more I listen to Fiend on my Orchestrion, the more convinced I become that the line is actually: "necessity is an invented mother." Could just be hearing what I want to hear, though.

I'm pretty sure that "Salt of the earth is salting your own fields;" is more like "Salting the earth is salting your own feelings." Also doesn't sound like earth, but i can't pinpoint what it is except that it has an s (hiss) ending. (Like "ash," but thats just a hypothesis)

Probably is gonna be awesome. I really have being thinking what kind of song would fit based on everyone's speculation.
