It could be about his counterparts, if you think of the Demon as the devil/a serpent and the 'she' as the Goddess.

While I initially thought they were referring to Hydaelyn (they may still be), there is the phrase "Necessity is the MOTHER of invention."

I also feel like the "There must be gold..." might be "They must drawn by [the Devil's Trine?]"

Lyrical finagling aside, I really dig this theme. It reminds me of Powerman 5000 and some older Trent Reznor musically and lyrically hearkens back to Ramuh where the Primal seems to know a little more than KILL KILL KILL

I usually only lurk but would like to pose the possibility that Sephirot's theme could be seen as his attempt at tempering the Warrior of Light by pitting him/her against Hydaelyn. Just food for thought.

I think it might mean something or hoping so since there has been many references generally in music questioning, outright doubting/against Hydaelyn and msq or something about our own path and the Elidbius and his wod party.

While the lyrics seem to to be reflective of the whole Hydaelyn/Zodiark conflict and the Dragonsong War.....they could just as easily be an anthem intended to glorify Sephirot over the other two competing members of the Triad. The notes in the Rising Stones suggested all three were deities of Meracydia, and like Bahamut were brought forth in desperate defense against Allagan conquest.

Since they are the Warring Triad, they may have been rival religions that nevertheless had to rise against an outside threat. Kinda like how in modern Eorzea, the rival city-states have to ally against rising threats, first against Ala Mhigo in the Autumn War, and again against Ala Mhigo's conquerers from the east. And now probably Nidhogg.

What are the Gobbie kids saying in the A8 theme? They are obviously cheering on their Gobbie mascot (which is adorable), but they seem to actually say something. Or maybe this is just me hearing things I want to hear.
