I guess it's rather moot now but the EW end boss theme titles had been apparently leaked a few weeks ago (they were listed on the FF Wiki), but it's nice to see they were both confirmed now with the official OST's release.

Also, I'm wondering if Uematsu should get a co-composer credit on the first page for Your Answer, given it's a remix of Answers (I presume it was also using Susan Calloway's lyrics from the original recording of Answers resampled, but I wasn't sure if it was really her or if Soken had Amanda Achen record the new lyrics instead). But if he's not officially credited in the OST liner notes (I haven't got it yet so I cannot check) then there's no problem either way.

Technically The Final Day also could potentially have a Uematsu credit too, as among other things it has a partial cue to none other than Final Fantasy too if you listen closely, but maybe I'm clutching at straws with that one so don't mind me!

That's good to hear, would have felt wrong otherwise personally speaking; I'm aware they didn't get her into a studio to do a new recording but given she was the voice of Hydaelyn initially all those years ago it's a nice bookend even though it was simply using a prior vocal performance.

Am at the point in the game where am almost entering Endwalker - I'd resisted watching the trailer/cinematic for it as didn't want to spoil anything.

But I watched it a short time ago, and dear god it blew me away.... and I have to confess this part of the song/cinematic, with the key-change:

The official lyrics for "Close in the Distance" confirm something I had suspected but it seemed a bit speculative to bring up in my previous post on the lyrics – that some of the words have a double purpose in two different lyrics.

Specifically, "I see you unbroken"/"unbroken promises" (there's even a comma suggesting the first lyric is more intended) and "no time for mourning"/"morning rises".

Did anyone manage to piece together the lyrics of the song in 6.1 trailer?

I'm talking about the music that plays from the halfpoint of the trailer onward.
I've been trying to figure out the lyrics, but English is not my native language and it's been hard...

Someone pointed me to this topic so I guess I'd ask for help

2:05 -- "____ will follow (long note)"
2:28 -- "May we walk on the _______"

I've learned from previous trailers that trying to decipher lyrics in them is a difficult and often unproductive process. That didn't stop me anyway.
The song starts at roughly the 1:41 mark fwiw, behind Y'shtola's voiceover. It's hard for me to make much out with the sfx and voice acting, and much of what I have matches what you've said or is near close-enough.

So I'll just list the earlier bits I hear here:

1:45 (during Endsinger) -- something high?
1:50 (during Alpha & Omega) -- one of us will carry?
1:53 (WoL looks upward) -- "when day beckons night" <-- this is one of the clearest lines, i think
2:00 (Hien amongst the Terminus) -- "hand in hand"
2:20ish (party running up the stairs) -- for Echoes spun?? ride through the moonlight??

I also definitely feel like they say something akin to "the court divine" at approx 2:30

Apologies for the deviation from the discussion pertaining to the Newfound Adventure trailer, but whilst have tried searching for it I can't find the answer to this question elsewhere...

What is the name of the music track which plays when the Ragnarok launches? I know it's not the first time I've heard that track, but can't recall where else I heard it and if it sounded quite the same when heard it previously.
