ATMA.... again

Well I for one cannot be free every single Tuesday night for example. One week I may be free, the other I may not. I'm not just talking about work, I'm talking about my fiancée and friends etc. If mates call up and say "do you wanna come out" I'm not gonna turn around and say sorry guys I can't because I want to get a piece of virtual eye candy that will become obsolete in 6-12 months. I'd rather spend that crucial time with real friends than sat inside playing a game. Same goes with my wife-to-be.

Of course I can make some evenings, but the same day every week? I can't promise that and unfortunately most "hardcore" FC's need that stability. If you can set aside that time then great for you, honestly, but I really can't so for me it's not a case of an argument, I really do like the idea of atmas, not for arguments sake but for the reason that I can then play if I get a bank holiday weekend and a little extra time on my hands.

I am close to have my ATMA weapon for my main char. Only 3000 myth tomes and doing the contents of book 8 and 9 are left. I am so glad it is almost over and I can start using tomes to equip my lesser played classes again.

I enjoyed the race partially but SE made more than one design mistake in my opinion. People do not mind the time it takes from what I have read. But WHAT they make you do spending your time is what people did not like. Here are some suggestions/observations after spending weeks on this quest:

- Make us grind for the 12 ATMAS only ONCE as a basic quest. Not for each weapon.

- Make the grind for the 12 ATMAS a definite one. Either by raising the chance to get one after each unsuccessful FATE to reduce the Luck factor or by making it differently asking to participate in a specific amount of FATES in the different areas so you can work towards a Goal that is set

- If you want to let us grind for ATMAS for each individual weapon, make the 12 ATMAS available from FATES independent of the Weapon in your hand. Allow us to do it with the character of our choice (some combat classes are FATE-friendlier than others and people could also use it for levelling)

- In the book phase, use regular FATES instead of the rare ones. Waiting times are not a time sink but plain boring. Or make these FATES appear more often if the Game detects that players with ATMA weapons are in the FATE zone

- In the book phase, again, don’t reduce ATMA drops to the Zenith weapon only. Hunting for a book takes care you do the one or other FATE again. But with your ATMA weapon equipped, no ATMA drop for you

I look forward to hear about the Changes they plan for 2.28. Dunno yet if they only change the upgrade process after obtaining the ATMA weapon or if they redesign it from the beginning. Yoshi’s statement in his live letter can be interpreted in both ways.

I would love to have more than one upgraded Relic because this weapon means most for me. It was hard to achieve the first Relics and seeing how they plan to make hem upgradeable also in Future, it seems like it is the weapon that really can grow with you over time. I would like to equip my most important characters with it. But not if the system remains as it is.

For the book fates you don't need gold. You do need them not to fail, however.

I'm pretty sure you need gold. This is not from personal experience as I always got gold, but from watching people shout "You need to get gold too?! FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU...." after a Giant Seps.

Nope, don't need gold, only need to successfully complete it.

Was teamed up with another farming Atmas and he brought up a good idea which was for every FATE completed in the zone a 1% chance to drop goes up. I mean even with the worse luck at least you know you will get the ATMA on the 100% completion...

I rarely buy lottery tickets. If this game becomes (or continues to be) too much about lottery and less about playing the game then I will not pay for it either.

Its a RNG its a RANDOM number generator, we just want the drop to be a little faster then when I spent 2 hours on a single atma that never droped with others drop in less then half a hour. I am not mad at Atma I know how to distract myself but the drop time should be droping at a faster rate. Most people have just givin' up untell the drop rate is fixed if anything we have to distract are selfs from the game to get something in the game! I have watched both season of Fate/Zero and 2 and a half season of Super natural and I only have 4 drops.
