I can *kinda* understand this as there was a wicked RDM vanity that I saw recently that I really wanted to do on my PLD (for the sword and shield, making it a true RDM), but found out that almost all of it was caster or class specific. ;n;

One downside for dated gear is that you can't dye them, can you?
I remember holding onto some dated gear but couldn't dye them so I dumped those.

Correct. Which is kind of annoying because I had the foresight to make Moccasins because after 1.0 I never wanted to wear ugly mage shoes and now I gotta deal with matching gear to them lol

buump...this is important.

My mage can't glamour kecks...serious problem. <_<+

I would rather SE remove the dow's abilty from wearing these casting robes. Remove the bikinis and dresses from glamour while they're at it.

Solution? Roll a tank!!!
Trolololololololol

Tanks can't wear DoM gear.Darnit, I had no idea. Look at all that crafted mage gear that's "all jobs", it's like every type of mage body is all jobs!
But... It does seem likeDoM have fewer options. A lot of the DoM gear is shared between either all the mages or casters/healers where there's more gear variety for DoW, because they rely on a greater variety of special stats (DEX, STR, VIT...) but can still equip each others' gear. Plus you can't glamour anything with a cowl, that takes out a lot of DoM glamour options...
It would be nice if healers and casters could at least share more of the high-end gear so we could glamour each others' unique drops/crafted stuff.
And we need more hats! Not enough magic-y hats, need some more fancy tiaras or masks~
