Unable to connect to NA/EU data centres

I've been occasionally able to get to char screen and it still says I'm in BL HM even though the time limit should be up by now. Get connection error again if I try to enter after that.

Able to log into Brynhildr as of 9am hawaii time.

Well if you get dc'd you should do a trace route, to see how the connection goes, tho this takes a bit of finding out which IP to trace, I do this for FFXI, as FFXIV running somewhat perfect usually 1-2 dc a day as of late.

Anyhow to trace a route you do the following

1. open start menu;
2. enter cmd and press enter;
3. once the command prompt is up enter: tracert * and press enter.
4. wait for it to complete and look where the problem occurs, copy/paste it
5. when game working again do a trace again and compare.

For me personally the following IP is the main cause: 219.117.144.53 (this is most likely an IP that FFXIV also gets connected through)

Hopefully this will help maybe if we gather the IP that is the main cause of the dc square can take actions, as it is really a datacenter in between that is most likely the cause.

219.117.144.53 is in Japan... Odin is in Canada. That shouldn't be coming into your route to your data center. Unless you are close enough to the JP region to be getting routed through there to get to the NA/EU servers in Canada? Otherwise, if you've picked up a JP connection that you are tracing, that is likely the brief authentication that is used periodically for things like logging in, zoning, maybe DF or something--but it's not the primary connection for the NA/EU servers. Those 124 based IP's should be in IDLE_WAIT for the most part. The more active connection routed in the 199 IP's in Canada should be where the problems mostly come from... at least that is where it mostly was since Beta4.
