This some ideas on how make them at least not so boring and little more ok to do a few.

Think we need more of the community give them some ideas.

1st. The time it takes to run to a fate is to long, We need some quick warps in the zones to cut the running time down. Boring running to a fate to only have it finish.

2nd. Level syncs. Try to reduce the amount of time we need to level sync. Have auto sync once you do a attack on a fate mob sync down. Also If your soloing a fate , because no help from shouts and know ones been in the fate for 2 min . You go back to your regular strength to clear it and must be cleared when over sync and once been over sync you get no credits or exp. You Get credit for the clear and a atma or a drop item. When one or more people show up you go back to the level sync, but you still will not get EXP or Credit. Unless you go to a city then warp back. For the fate your in and clear it as level sync.
A1: Have a fate option were under the timer on the main menu you can turn on the fate auto sync stuff.
B1: chocobo works and counted as a single player if it just you and your bird and will not get exp if over sync happened.

3rd. Give better rewards and bonuses for 4-8 man parties.

For some reason on this game fates are just slow and boring. I played many other types of games that has a fate type systems, but most of the time those games are not so slow and boring for some reason. I believe most of it is just the walking and the time that it takes to get to a fate only to have it beaten buy time you get there.
