Extreme Dungeons

I would like to see extreme dungeons introduced that are as hard as some of the higher tier content.

Extreme dungeons should not only have extreme boss encounters but the trash mobs take skill to kill as well. A first extreme mode suggestions would be The Sunken Temple of Qarn, and The Aurum Vale

Current hard mode dungeons are a joke and are some of the easiest content to clear in the game.

I think the term trash mob would lose meaning if you needed to go beyond tank and spank for every encounter (and it would make said encounters take even longer to finish). You're only saying the hard mode dungeons are easy cause you're probably overgeared for it. Try playing them with the minimum recommended gear level and try again.

They kinda tried that with Pharao Sirius and people were just crying, so i doubt that they will do it again.

Extreme dungeons is something I've been thinking about for a while, and I really like the idea.
I don't really understand why the only high-tier content has to be full party. I mean, the rewards shouldn't be as good as 8-man content, but I really wouldn't mind this kind of stuff dropping Philosophy mats exclusively, and in larger volumes, and a larger amount of soldiery.

Trash probably shouldn't be complicated, but it should hit hard, for sure. Pulling 2 groups should be a serious threat.

The problem with Pharos Sirius is that is was harder than the other hard modes, which felt inconsistent when you could get either one from the same roulette, not to mention that WC and AK were piss easy, as well, and on the same roulette.


If everything is consistent, people are much more likely to accept the concept of very hard dungeons.

Our FC has a running in-joke about how hellish Sastasha EX is.

I am totally down for EX Dungeons, but I suspect it won't happen for a while. It'll probably be what they start doing around when every dungeon has a Hard Mode already
