Error code 2002 and 90000

Well after multi attempts at my NA data center "Aether" along with "Primal" never got in, only had continual 2002 errors. Did give the JP data center "Elemental" and EU data center "Chaos" a try and got it on first attempts. Exited and retried Aether and still get 2002. Guess NA data centers are down.

Aether and Primal still seem to be experiencing 2002 errors. 12:57AM EST. There's no notes about maintenance, are the servers full? When will it be fixed?

Getting Error 2002. This is frustrating and the same reason I quit the game 90 days after the original launch. Too many issues with the server. My question is why even mess with maintenance on a weekend?

Error 2002 trying to log into NA server Primal, multiple attempts this morning. I will try again latter today. I've never had server problems until today, no changes to system since I logged on yesterday afternoon.

Only MMO to do maintenance on a fucking weekend. GJ!

It's like Square hired folks at EA to work their servers. Every patch is making the game worse and worse. Gold sellers bombard the game like locusts. Way to ruin a weekend, Square-Enix.

I bet the Japanese servers don't get this drama. This company screws us Western customers over so badly. I can get the same quality and aggravation at a F2P game. At least they don't do maintenance on the weekend.

Well at least some of you have been able to get on for at least a bit.
I've been receiving this 2002 error for over a week now. So I can't even get past the top menu.
I hit "Start" and after about 20 seconds or so I get hit with Error 2002, Cannot connect to the Lobby Server.
I'm quite upset because I've always participated in every Seasonal Event for the exclusive gear that only comes once a year! So goodbye to this year's items. Going to have to buy them for real cash money at later time... If they're even available. Oh right, and I miss out on the quests too... Thanks SE!

I swear its like the majority of players who complain here NEVER look at the notices that pop up RIGHT ON THE LAUNCHER...
