    Why are fates so boring and ideas on how to make them little more stream line.

    This some ideas on how make them at least not so boring and little more ok to do a few.

    Think we need more of the community give them some ideas.

    1st. The time it takes to run to a fate is to long, We need some quick warps in the zones to cut the running time down. Boring running to a fate to only have it finish.

    2nd. Level syncs. Try to reduce the amount of time we need to level sync. Have auto sync once you do a attack on a fate mob sync down. Also If your soloing a fate , because no help from shouts and know ones been in the fate for 2 min . You go back to your regular strength to clear it and must be cleared when over sync and once been over sync you get no credits or exp. You Get credit for the clear and a atma or a drop item. When one or more people show up you go back to the level sync, but you still will not get EXP or Credit. Unless you go to a city then warp back. For the fate your in and clear it as level sync.
    A1: Have a fate option were under the timer on the main menu you can turn on the fate auto sync stuff.
    B1: chocobo works and counted as a single player if it just you and your bird and will not get exp if over sync happened.

    3rd. Give better rewards and bonuses for 4-8 man parties.

    For some reason on this game fates are just slow and boring. I played many other types of games that has a fate type systems, but most of the time those games are not so slow and boring for some reason. I believe most of it is just the walking and the time that it takes to get to a fate only to have it beaten buy time you get there.

    Not sure about your other points, but I like the 2nd idea of an auto sync feature.
    Teleporting between FATEs is not needed. We teleport enough already.

    I think SE should get rid of the spawn system for FATEs, where a new FATE can only start when another is finished or runs out of time.
    Each FATE should have a cooldown and spawn again after a certain ammount of time has passed.
    This would make waiting for specific FATEs, to get the books for Animus done, a bit less tiresome.

    Better rewards would be nice, but what should they give to players who can farm everything everywhere with less effort?
    Maybe a chance to get a rare material or a materia for finishing a FATE.
    Or give players participating in FATEs an increased spiritbond rate.
    Maybe implement a chance for a NM to spawn during the FATE which will drop some unique piece of gear (for vanity for example) if players manage to kill it and finish the FATE in time.
    Or let them give elemental shards/crystals/clusters in addition to normal rewards.

    And then there is the difficulty and fun factor of FATEs.
    They are too easy if there are more players doing them and some are too hard to do them solo if nobody else is there to help.
    I have no idea how to make the fights more interesting and challenging, but not impossible to beat for new players.
    It's a fact though, that lvl50 players are bored by the current FATEs and the only reason most of them do them is for Atma/Animus weapon. And while the number of players farming Atmas decreases, the number of players waiting for FATEs they need for their books, just standing at the spawn location and waiting, increases.
    And waiting for the random spawn of a FATE is even worse than grinding FATEs.
