Tired of 90k...

Every time I play, I get a 90k. Every single time. And when I do, I get a 3102 error that doesn't let me log back in for AT LEAST 5 minutes afterward.

Today, I 90k'd during a freaking cut-scene for a quest.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with this client, but this is total BS and needs to be fixed. Does the game keep error logs somewhere so that I can send them to you? Because this got old months ago. Now it's just sad, annoying, and unacceptable.

I wish it would at least just freeze your character for a moment and attempt to automatically reconnect instead of ejecting you from the game. If you stayed in the game world like that instead of being booted back to the title screen it would be so much better.

I get this a lot too... What's the cause of it? It's just sudden random kick to title screen, no connection issues or anything. I can usually log back in straight away though luckily!

What system are you playing. I'm on PS3 have no problems. Are you trying to play this game on a laptop? System specs plz.

haven't had a 90k for months, what i get is the game minimizing usually during something crazy like levi or something... need to find out what program in the background finds it funny to do that to me ><

I don't get 90k'd often so it's bearable. What I can't tolerate is the endless 2002s that follow when I try to relog.

90k is just a generic disconnect. It can have a million causes. If it happens to you constantly though you may have a problem with your network card or router. The 3102 happens because your character persists in the game for a period after the client disconnects. That's a sign that the connection loss is on your end. If the server booted you on its end you wouldn't get a 3102. It shouldn't last 5 minutes though. I think you might be exaggerating there. Also it does normally try to reconnect you. That's what's happening when you everything stops for a few moments. You can't readily see the send/receive like in XI but if you mouseover the icon to see it you'll see the same R0 that you'd get in FFXI and you'd 90k when S hit 0 as well.

From what i can tell is the 90k is when you lose a signal to there server. I run on the ps4 ,but I can get the 90k when ever i want to if i am on my router and networked to my labtop. My labtop firewall will dc everything on my network. When ever i turn the labtop off. It also could be a outdated ethernet ports. That the newer modems not support to well. or something in your modem from your isp restricting it.

I, myself, only had 2 90k's in the past few months and those were in dungeons with a large amount of Lagspikes.

But, could it be related to this?

I had a few 90ks two days ago and god horrible lag for the first time in instances on ps4 and that surprised me because when I say bad I mean it was bad. I hardly ever got lag playing on ps3 but idk what it was the other day but that as bad. Also somehow my in game clock is going haywire like the minutes are passing by like seconds and that's never happened before either, wondering what that's about because my ps4 clock is set to the right time.
