why is this happening and what exactly is Tessallation!?
Tessellation is a type of tile mapping where none of the tiles overlap. Setting it on high mainly makes the tiles look more natural and less symmetrical, less like a grid of the same map textures basically.
As for the error, that might be more at home in the bug section.

Tesselation uses an extra texture map to define surface height, the GPU then splits the geometry into extra triangles to make it conform to the specified height. This only a visual affect and doesn't effect collusion which is why you will see characters feet clip through tessellated surfaces.
Oooh I always assumed it was the same kind that I learned about in art and design.
But that was about M.C. Escher and mosaics and crud, it makes sense it's a different concept when it comes to games. I'm happy I know that now, thank you for explaining.
Yeah i have reinstalled drivers multiple times and even reinstalled the game
