If they follow the trend set so far, each Class would get a new weapon(s) and all additional jobs with that class would use the same weapon (likely with different stats). One class with multiple jobs so far is hardly precedence, though.

I doubt The Thavnarian Alchemist (Forget his name) is going to allude to any new classes. So far he's A: An Alchemist and B: Nothing else.
I also doubt we'll get any new crafting classes as any Gear Enhancement could be grafted on to the already existing Materia System, and Guns will most likely come from Blacksmithing.
(What else would a gunsmithing class make besides guns/gun components that couldn't be covered by the other crafts, it would be too single purpose to really necessitate it's own guild , and even when it comes to things like puppets/mammets it's already been established that the goldsmith guild in Ul'dah makes them even though players (currently) can't)

All i know is that they should be releasing some new healer/ tank classes if they r going to release more dps classes.
Cuz it's going to be just weird having like a dozen dps classes and only 2 or 3 tank/ healer classes right?
I think they will but it won't be as populated as dps probably to keep those classes in demand. Besides DPS in any game is normally more common and has more roles than tank and healer roles open to them.
:/ wouldn't that change q times for better or for worse?
I see it as more dps classes = longer wait times for them?
Ppl will probably flux to the new dps classes.
Soooo there might be a drop in healer / tank #s for a while?
Cuz i know a lot of ppl will try and bum rush the new classes to level 50 and be all like " yeahhh i look so cool being the only level 50 ( insert new class ) in mor dohna".
It's like when I joined a fate farming party one morning at 11:01AM, immediately after pulling my shiny new fat chocobo out of the mail. I felt so special.
By 11:03, half of the farming party had left to come back with their own fat chocobos. Then they were lined up like peeps in Mor Dhona for days. But for those two minutes, I was a snowflake and it was worth it...
