I find more use out of cross-classing the Haymaker ability to my BRD as it's 5th cross-skill, than the Slow effect it adds. I think it was meant to be used more in low level mob fighting, because I could actually tell a difference then. It sort of loses its usefulness when you get to 50.

But Haymaker!!!! I love it! With such high Dex, I dodge stuff all the time. High potency, low TP skill is awesome! /rant

Depending on the party composition, it can be helpful for people that aren't well geared/experienced.
But if they meet both of those requirements, then you're better off bursting it down ASAP.

DEX doesn't affect dodge rates...it affects Block/Parry rates...

Meh, guess I'm just lucky then.

It's ridiculous how much I dodge.

P.S. - Just because the tooltip for the stat doesn't say it affects dodge rate, that doesn't mean it can't affect it at all. Featherfoot increases evasion stat, can you point to me where you can see your evasion stat on the stat screen?

Not trying to refute you to be an ass or anything, but I notice the higher my Dex gets, the better I dodge. I have a hard time believing there isn't some kind of correlation.
