1. Dont meld that i55 set unless its all HQ. Dont bother melding your hat at all. Strongly advise you meld your accessories first. As far as what to meld, you need to google "End game Crafting" which will give you your options on what to meld. Keep in mind each piece has a CAP for each stat.

2.That is correct. You can make or buy the HQ Sauteed Coeurl. Spicy Tomato Relish can be difficult to HQ, and can not be bought.

3. The only way youre going to to get to your 2 star/3 star recipes is by Overmelding. If any piece has at least 1 slot to it, it can be overmelded. The slots that come with the equipment are safe bets,
meaning you can meld and materia to it with a 100% chance of success. After these are used up, you are in Overmelding territory, where your chance of success drops drastically. 1st Overmeld ~45% success rate, 2nd Overmeld ~24%, 3rd Overmeld, ~12%. You have a higher success rate with lower grade materia, and i STRONGLY advise you use your Highest Grade Materia/Most expensive on the 100% slots. Ideally, only overmeld with grade 1 and 2 materia

So the case with your Aetheryte Ring, youd probably want to meld it in the exact order you listed the materia in. Control/CP are very important and never wasted, Craftsmanship isnt too important after you meet the requirements for 2/3 star recipes. IF you have the right Cross Class Skills
