Thread: More Quests like Relic Reborn please!

This is by far the best quest in the entire game so far.

I have only Titan to kill (did it already once in a DF group btw) and then sadly all of this coolness will be over.

Please add more of these chained quests that take a long time to complete.
I really love how this quest differs from everything else in the way that you really need to put some effort into it and it takes time to do.

From all that I've been reading I'm NOT looking forward to the atma grind because it doesn't sound at all the same.

Anyway do you have any suggestions if there's more of these long quests in the game? What would you suggest SE does with the future of Relic weapon quests?

Personally I hope they evolve it with same kind of variety that spans multiple challenges and even using crafting to complete.

Have you done the Manderville quests? They are long chain quests that are absolutely hilarious!

Long? You can finish the quest in a single day, how exactly is that long? Atma, the thing you dislike takes a long time.

Or a few short hours depending on how the RNG rolls sadly...

Thanks for the suggestion I think that's what I'll be doing after Titan falls!
As a sidenote I leveled my blacksmith to 50 during this quest to complete the double melding part of the quest. Even so I couldn't have done everything else in a day.

Absolutely do the Hildibrand quests! They're an absolute blast, and end in a pretty awesome boss fight (and will be continued further in the future).

Either way, I do think the main Relic Reborn questline is one of the better ones in the game. Unfortunately I'll probably leave mine at Zenith unless the new upgrades introduce some unique content.

Hildibrand is absolutely the best and most hilarious part of the game and what I look most forward to with every patch. That said, I enjoyed the relic quest a lot as well (not so much the atma grind, been stuck on 8/12 for a week now).
The only thing that is missing is more lore. I would love for newer updates to require you to travel all around Eorzea to remote places one might miss and explain their significance. Also, trials in Dungeons like Hydra, really enjoyed that and hope for more.

No, the original quest to obtain your Relic is a very unique questline in this game and nothing else follows it at all. People are suggesting to you the Hildibrand quests (which are hilarious and absolutely worth experiencing), but if I am understanding you correctly I don't think it will satiate your need for a similar quest. The Hildibrand quest line is long, but it isn't one singular quest. It is a lot of short quests that all follow the same path. The relic quest gives you a multitude of different activities you need to do within the same quest, (finding your base, crafting (or buying) your precursor, melding (or, again, buying) the materia needed, farming 24 mobs, and 5 boss trials). Hildibrand has a lot of comedy infused into fetch, or go-here type quests with one very cool boss at the end of what we have so far.

I don't mean to dismiss what the others are saying, but I don't want you to get false hope. The relic quest is unique, and there really is no single quest in the game like it.

XIV 1.23 & XI had better quests.

you can do the quest line in like 2-3 hours. The reason it used to be long is the titan brick wall but was made easy now with echo.
