edit: we're all highly aware that ps4 is god tier compared to ps3.
we know. you guys tell us like every single day in a thread since the start of the PS4 phase . We. Know. some of us just do not have the extra cash laying around.
thx for the info on how the game runs but..i dont got the money nor do i care to buy a $400 system for a single game
that i can already run on ps3...just not worth it right now.
yea and lots of angry ps3 players will be up se's ass hardcore because they promised us a PS3 launch for this for quite some time.
not always about you guys. we cant always shell out money coz we have other crap to do in our lives than worry abt a system.

The difference is night and day. I got the PS4 about 3 months ago and played the February beta for FFXIV. I didn't play on PS3 again for a full week, because it was hard to bring myself back to such a downgrade. Now, all these people that say "GAME IS UNPLAYABLE ON PS3 BLAH BLAH", are definitely over-exaggerating. Buuuuuuut, I certainly wouldn't ever play on PS3 againGlad you are enjoying it!
I do disagree with this, however. The PS4 would have most likely been about $200 dollars more if they included the laser needed to read PS3 games into the PS4. Plus, I'm not a big fan of backwards compatibility anyway. I keep my old consoles incase I ever want to play a classic. It sucks in your case (with your PS3 crapping out and all), but I'm very happy with the PS4 just being a PS4. I would wager that if you have the type of job that allows you to just up and buy a new system when the old one craps out, then it shouldn't be too hard for you to save up $79-$119 bucks for a refurbished PS3 at game stop. I would also bet that those prices will be true for new versions of the systems in a short amount of time as well.
The biggest reason to upgrade is not because of the enhanced graphics and performance... but because the Dual Shock 4 is WAAYYYYY more comfortable than the Dual Shock 3.
Really? PS controllers have been pretty much the same since #1 - why is #4 so much more comfortable?
It's bigger than the DS3, which is nice for me because I have big hands. I always felt like I was going to crush the DS3. There are actually triggers on the DS4 now too, which is a welcome change. Mainly just ergonomically more friendly.
I HATE the light coming out of it though. Seriously, really SCE? The DS4 has the worst battery life ever
Edit: Changed SE to SCE, people here might think I'm blaming Squeenix instead of Sony for the controller design![]()

Outside of the triggers I prefer the DS3. I find the sticks on the DS4 pretty uncomfortable
Lol? Its the same laser, they're both blue ray. This isn't DVD to blue ray, red laser to blue. Could've easily been done with an emulation program like the later PS3 models had.

O not to mention there's that company Sony bought before PS4 release that does that streaming stuff. It was expected that it might be an add on later.
Nah, considering the massive hardware difference, emulation software would not have worked.Lol? Its the same laser, they're both blue ray. This isn't DVD to blue ray, red laser to blue. Could've easily been done with an emulation program like the later PS3 models had.
