    [dev 1083?] Mounts

    Mounts or whatever you would like to call them...

    I don't want just chocobos running around, I would like a variety of mounts, raptors, hogs, whatever. The thing that I would most like to see is the ability for Archers and Lancers to fight while mounted. Also the ability to customize our mounts with equips of their own. Speed and durability equips to advance your mount to the next level...one thing I don't want is it to be too time consuming like the chocobo hatching in FFXI. This is just something I was throwing out there if anyone has any other ideas please feel free to contribute.

    They already said there would be a mount system including, but not limited to, chocobos.

    Dodobos!

    I'm having a hard time picturing anything outside of chocobos for a FF title, but some variety wouldn't hurt.

    i thought they said there would be a "pet" system including, but not limited to, chocobos.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Way back when they first announced it they said it was a mount system including chocobos. Also why can't we have chocobos and other animals that logically can be ridden? Some change and innovation is good, give people some freedom of choice with at least that. Are you going to deny me my Lominsan Crab Cavalry?!

    Really Cairdeas? You preach freedom and variety in pretty much every other area but you want to keep this one restricted to the least possible choice?
