Make FFXIV Merchandise Available Outside Japan

I recall JP players could get the earrings via the FF Collection that wasn't available over here.

From an older interview- I'm assuming nothing ever came from this-

GE- For the 25th anniversary in Japan there was a box set released with all of the FF games. There was a code in there for the ‘Mogu Mogu” earring. I was wondering how and if this item will be made available to players outside Japan?

Yoshida- Because that was a very special item for that specific box, we don’t want to give it out easily otherwise we might upset people that bought it. We’re taking very careful steps towards if/how we’ll give out these codes. That being said, the item attributes aren’t really that great.

Nothing has been confirmed, but we are aware that box is extremely popular worldwide. So there’s a possibility that we may sell outside of Japan but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Yeah.....tell me about it...by the time I was able to get to E3 last year, I made it about 5 minutes AFTER they closed the "Ifrit challenge" line...Otherwise I would have gotten the shirt

I was watching the people in the challenge...they don't deserve the shirt...some of them hadn't even heard of FFXIV before that or showed any interest in it because "1.0 sucked"

Those aren't the people that should have the shirt... All 1.0 players should have a "Meteor Survivor" shirt! We're the TRUE Meteor Survivors!

I kinda wish SE would sell their stuff on Amazon too. Seems Japan gets all the good junk and the 90% of us players who are non-JP get the shaft in cool goodies. Is it wrong to think a global company should treat it's global customers equally, or am I being naive?
